Today started off overcast, the threatened storm of last night never materialized, or if it did I slept through it.We started with a slight incline and headed off to the clouds. The sun took longer to appear but when it finally did it made for yet another hot day.Today was mainly road walking, there were a couple of variants we could have taken. One would have added 1km the other an additional 3km and more strenuous. So we took the shorter and easier routes.Although as I said it was mainly road walking the route followed the course of the river, with high hills either side. We occasionally caught glimpses of the motorway, sometimes at our level and at others way above us.
